Overview
This course is for individuals who will be taking the face to face version of Social Emotional Health and Development.  This course will take a look at why Social Emotional Health and Development is so important and how the new Colorado Shines QRIS addresses this area.

Objective
  1. Identify the importance of and apply specific strategies for building relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  2. Identify teaching approaches that promote children’s social-emotional skills and positive behaviors.
  3. Describe strategies to implement responsive routines and environments to support children’s social-emotional development.
  4. Complete the Social and Emotional Health and Development items of the Colorado Shines Points Structure Self-Assessment.
