Training Alignment Process (TAP) and Supporting Resources

The Training Alignment Process (TAP) allows professional development organizations and individual trainers to submit a training for review of alignment to The Colorado Competencies and best practice standards for adult instruction. A training recognized as aligned will be posted on the Colorado Shines PDIS course catalog and viewable by over 75,000 Colorado Shines PDIS users. The Colorado Shines Training Alignment logo may be used on training certificates and training descriptions on the organization's website for courses that have been recognized through TAP. Attendees of TAP recognized courses benefit by having courses automatically linked to their PDIS user account with ongoing professional development points calculated towards their professional credential, training documents are kept electronically in a central location, and they may easily identify training that meets their professional development goals. Program directors appreciate the ease of going to one location to plan professional development for their program staff.
