Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
The Early Childhood Professional Development Team (ECPD) wants to ensure that every applicable Early Childhood Professional Credential submission is accepted. With that in mind, the ECPD Team has defined the requirements to better assist you with your submissions. The new requirements assist with determining whether the training counts, number of points and guarantees that all needed information is included so it can be properly entered into PDIS.
The new requirements apply to all Early Childhood Professionals submitting ongoing professional development documentation for the Early Childhood Professional Credential. The new requirements will go into effect December 1, 2018. Professional development providers can start implementing these changes now, but it won't go into effect until December 1, 2018.
