Formal Education Courses Aligned to the Competencies

Two-year and four-year institutions in Colorado have done extensive work to align their programs and courses to Colorado's Competencies for Early Childhood Educators and Administrators.  This work results in:

-Comprehensive programs of study where students graduate without significant gaps in knowledge.

-Coordinated programs of study where students experience less overlap and redundancy.

-Flexible programs of study where career changes are easily accommodated.

These courses also earn additional points in the Early Childhood Professional Credential.  Professionals are eligible for these points starting in fall of 2016 for 2-year institutions and fall of 2017 for 4-year institutions.  Click on the institution below to find which courses are aligned to the Competencies.
